Coronavirus Safety Information

Amidst the pandemic, the CDC has urged different businesses and facilities to follow rigorous safety protocols and guidelines. For this reason, all of our offices throughout the Chicago area have made adjustments to promote health and safety for our staff and our patients. Initially, we were only offering emergency dental services at our offices, while we waited on more information from our local and state governments on opening policies. However, we now offer all of our dental services for families in the Chicago area that need dental work done. For more information on what to expect at our offices, please contact us to discuss our protocols and safety procedures.

Oral Suction Units

Each of our offices has been equipped with oral suction units designed to make dental work safer during the pandemic. Because the novel coronavirus can be transmitted through aerosols, it is important to take extra precautions during dental work. The CDC recommends that people wear masks or facial coverings when they cannot maintain 6 feet of social distancing. Of course, it is impossible for dental patients to wear face coverings or for their dentists to maintain social distancing. For this reason, oral suction units were developed to keep air clean while dentists work.

Further Safety Precautions

As dental offices, All Star Dental already had a lot in place to minimize any health risks for our staff or patients. All of our hygienists and dentists wear masks and gloves as they work. Chairs, dental instruments, and other areas are consistently disinfected or disposed of throughout the day. Because of the pandemic, we have added a few more precautions to our offices to maximize safety for everyone who visits us.

  • Face Coverings: We are asking that patients and families wear face coverings when they come to the office. Face coverings should be worn at all times except during dental procedures.
  • Scheduling: Our team is making scheduling adjustments so that we can see as many patients as possible while also minimizing the number of people in any of our offices at any given time.
  • Sanitization: Our offices are being regularly sanitized and disinfected throughout the day.

We are asking that all patients and their families follow CDC recommendations when leaving their homes. Frequently washing your hands and wearing face coverings can help limit the spread of the virus. If you or someone in your household is experiencing symptoms or feeling ill, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy office for all of our visitors.
