Learn More About Your Dental Appointment at Our Chicago Office
Every dentist recommends that you visit at least twice per year. Two yearly visits can go a long way in protecting your teeth from dental decay and your gums from disease. Even if you brush and floss every day, it is always recommended that you see a dentist. At our dental exams we provide professional teeth cleaning, dental sealants, and x-rays to help you and your kids protect your teeth.
When teeth begin to decay it is not always reversible. In some cases the decayed section of the tooth will need to removed and filled in. We provide both fillings and root canal services.
- Dental Fillings: A filling is often needed to help with a cavity. When a tooth begins to decay the decayed section of the tooth is removed and replaced with a filling.
- Root Canal: A root canal is performed when decay spreads into the tooth roots. In the old days, when decay spread this far, the only option was to have the tooth extracted. But now patients can have a root canal performed to save the tooth.
We provide a variety of restorative dental procedures for our clients at our office in Chicago. They include:
- Dental Crowns: A dental crown is a small synthetic cap that is placed on a tooth. You may need one after a root canal or if you are getting a dental bridge. A crown can protect your teeth and act as a new chewing surface.
- Dental Bridges: A dental bridge can help replace a lost tooth. Bridges work by using your existing teeth as anchors in order to hold the false tooth in place. We provide bridge installation and replacement procedures at our office.
